Q: For my big b-day present, I was thinking of a laptop. First, is this a good choice, second, should I just put it on my list and see? (sorry, but I can't think of the name) I want the Dell computer that has all types of colors and has the commercal in it with the snake, red car, etc. in it. I'll give you the name later. Any advice? As you can see, we have a computer. I want one that is mobile and is sleek, not like the one I have, (very crappy Windows 95) *hurl* The Dell Inspiron. I couldn't think of it.
A: Well walking into the store and saying, "I want the red one." Would just convince me that you want to have a laptop to just to have a laptop. You have the get educated on the actual specifications of the laptop and know exactly what you want because saying, "I want a dual core 2.8ghz proccessor. " Sounds a whole lot better. You can get a diffrent cover any time but the components are not so easily changed. Tell them why you need it, like you'll be using it for school and if your in high-school say your going to use it for college, something to show your parents that it's an investment because your sure not going to get it as 'just a birthday present' Keep that in mind, email me if you need help picking one.
