Q: How would I go about transferring my files from my Dell laptop to a MacBook Pro? Is there some sort of Belkin (I think that does XP to Vista, at least...) cable I can use? Links (to Apple site, or any other) would also be great, thank you.
A: You hook both computers up to an ethernet hub or router. You the Windows PC to share the folder that you want to copy. Then connect the Mac and switch on Samba file sharing. You'll be able to browse the PC just like it was another folder.
