Q: how do i make it that when i am not charging my laptop the backlight is still on... i have a gateway and im using vista when i use it in my bed wirelessly.. i want to have the same experience as when its on my desk... i know that since it will have a backlight it probly will have less battery time.. but i dont really care
A: Sounds like you have the power options set to Laptop. Go to the Control Panel | Power Options and set to Always On or something similar. or just turn up the screen with your function key (FN) and the up arrow
