Q: I been using Pc For all my life and i want to get a laptop either a Macbook or a regular Windows laptop even though I more familiar with windows but i don't like Vista and i heard Mac doesn't have problems with viruses and all that stuff. And I just need it for music, videos, myspace, chat, etc. So give me your opinion maybe you could help me on this deal
A: Macbook. Far better design. Can run Windows XP/VISTA, Ubuntu Linux and most any operating system including its native OS X. Play games on my macbook pro all the time. Windows Vista flopped. Go for the solid OS and the better design. If you want to play games though, buy the Macbook Pro with the Geforce graphics. It truly qualifies as a desktop replacement. If you're going to not play games and just need a normal laptop for regular applications, internet and so forth, then you'd do well to save your money and just by the regular Macbook for $1,000 brand new. As for price difference, if you add all that virus software, adware, spyware and the other crap to keep Windows running smoothly, you'll spend more money in the long run when you could have just bought a Macbook. If you want to see the technical differences between a Windows computer and a Macintosh computer, try going onto PalTalk and asking yourself why there's hundreds of people in PC tech support rooms, but a Mac tech support room does not even exist?
