Q: I go to Computer and it just shows my harddrives. No DVD drive. I put a DVD in and tried to play it but it said no disk. I can open Device Manager and see two drives under Disk Drives (even though I only have 1).
A: well check if the DVD drive is visible in the device manager, if not go to the HP website and download the FIRMWARE update for the drive on your laptop and install it. if it still doesnt work, call HP and talk to a Tech Support executive, they'll probably have to replace the drive.
