Q: If I bought a laptop in the UK, could I use it in America and vice versa? I know people use their laptops for business travel, but I don't know if it is possible to use them in different countries. Help?
A: I bought a laptop in Florida and used it in Germany, Turkey, the Canary Islands and England. I then bought a lapton in Germany and used it there and in Alabama. A laptop knows no nationaity. The one problem is voltage. Be sure you set the correct voltage on the transformer. Most laptop transformers are multi-voltage so you will need an adapter plug for the country you are in.
