Q: well i just got a new acer aspire 5315 and i want to change a few preferences. first i want my laptop to ask me to log back in to windows (XP) after i open the laptop back up from being closed. second, i want to turn the touch pad mouse off due to i have a mouse attatched via usb. thanks alot!
A: Hi Yank Go in the control panel and then disable the mouse pointing device. Now go in your power options, and decide how you want the computer to react when you press the on/off button and when you close the lid. Then reboot and what you have asked for, will do just that.
