Can you help me with installing Microsoft Office 2003 on my laptop?

Q: Okay, I got a new laptop and it did not have Office on it. So, I got the 2003 version I used to install on my desktop. Is this possible (or legal)? If yes, how can I do this? When I put the CD in, all it does is show me the documents on the CD and I can't figure out how to install it. Okay so to make this clearer, I want these questions answered: Can I install Microsoft Office 2003 (that has been used on another computer) on my laptop? Would it be legal to do so? If yes, How can I do this?
