Q: can anyone tell me an estimate price for a new battery for a gateway laptop? my battery life funs out so quickly and i know its because i charged it for like a week straight...big mistake. but is there a way i can regain its life? i you know what i mean..or a way to keep its charge longer? or an average price for a new battery? its model number is MA3 if that helps...thanks!
A: Usually the only maintenance you can do to a battery is preventative maintenance. Once a battery is done, it's done. If you go shopping for a battery in a store, try to find the manufacturing date on it and get the newest one. Many laptop batteries are sold when they're a year or so old. Anyway, good luck.
