Q: I have a laptop last year for x-mas and only have used it twice its been sitting since. I bought Sim City Society works fine on my computer but when I tried to install it on the lap top it read the disk once and something popped up and I accidentally closed it now when I put it in it wont read it? It acts like it is but nothing pops up and when I go to the drive to open it myself there is not nothing there and when I click on the drive it says do you want to format this disk? Can anyone please help me?
A: The problem could simply be that you did not approve Vista to run it, since there is indeed a security message. If you closed it, it could have in memory that the disc has no user approval so it will not open again. You could try to open the disc itself by using the "explore" feature and activating the Installer manually. Hope it helps.
