Q: Any suggestions?? should i return the computer or any tech help( no complicated words please) this laptop was shipped by mail thru UPS and HSN The message FAN ERROR appeared right after i started the computer ( right after opening the package) Help me???? A: This is why you don't buy your computers through Gateway and instead build them yourself. You have faulty hardware - you can either shell out the money to replace it yourself or you can complain to the customer support department and see what they can do. Hopefully you are still covered under warranty - if so, you can most likely replace the model for a new one or they will fix your computer for you. Be prepared for a long process - customer support in the computing industry is almost heinous at times.
