Why is there Vista operating systems in Mac laptops?

Q: Mac and Microsoft have never been good friends so why should do they put Vista OP which is Microsoft into a Mac laptop?

A: Putting Vista on a Mac became much easier when Apple started using Intel chips although they use EFI instead of BIOS at the firmware level - MS still uses the crappy old BIOS on Vista due to legacy issues which Apple doesn't have otherwise you could pretty much install Vista on a Mac with no addtional software required. Why does Apple allow you to run Vista on a Mac? 2 reasons If you wanted Windows users to swtich to an Intel Mac how would you do it? Allow Macs to boot Vista with Boot Camp (Apple) or use Parallels or VMware) also if you want to run more than one OS on a Mac in a Windows environment. Microsoft and Apple have ALWAYS done Business since the earliest days of the Apple I and Apple II back in 1977 and onwards. Bill Gates first put Visi Calc on the Apple before porting it to the IBM PC in the early 80's and renaming it Excel. Bill Gates formed Micro Computer Software Company in 1975 which later become Microsoft. Microsoft currently has the Mac Business Unit which writes Office:mac and other software for OS X. They have had that unit since the late 90's.
