Q: I'm looking at a Dell laptop. They offer the LoJack software which can trace a stolen laptop when the thief hooks it up to the Internet. The big draw back is that Dell charges and arm and a leg for it. Dell makes you purchase an absolutely worthless extended warranty for the same length of time you purchase the LoJack service. I'm not going to pay $269 for a 4 year extended warranty just so I can get 4 years of LoJack for an extra $119. Are there any services like LoJack that can be purchased and loaded to the laptop without the extra BS Dell's selling?
A: Buy your laptop without the LoJack and then go to their website and purchase from them. It should be cheaper!!!
