Q: I have a Macbook that i purchased in June 2008. and I have a SimpleTech 250 GB external hard drive. I put music and stuff from my Acer Laptop that has Windows Vista. and Now i want to put the music onto my Itunes on my Macbook but I can't find the icon for the external hard drive. it says i have to format it but i do not understand how to format it. it lights up and stuff when i plug it in. thank you for your help! 2 hours ago - 3 days left to answer.
A: Weeeelll... If it wants u to format it, you need to copy what you want from the ex. h-d on to your accer, then format the ex.h-d on ur mac. U hav 2 do that cause formatting wipes all data. Then once u hav formatted it, copy ur stuff bak on then u should find the icon in the computer thing of mac (don't know what it's called..) And there u go- hope that workes, otherwise go c a computer shop ^.6
