Q: Well I came home after one day of being away from the computer and my dad had messed up the computer some how. He says he didn't do anything and it just happened, but.. It wasn't doing it just that morning..So I dunno. Anyways the problem is when I turn it on, it seems fine for the first 15 minutes. Then everything becomes black and in the left upper corner it says there is some sort of problem and to click the button to fix it. The problem is, my dad says he thinks it's some kind of virus because it's trying to cost us money to get our computer back to normal. The only reason I could get on the internet is because I clicked on it before everything turned black, and then pressed cntrl alt delete. There is no minimizer bar and no start menu or background once it turns black. So what is it? And how do I get rid of it?
A: Definitely a virus... As for how to fix it, i suggest pushing ctrl+alt+delete and using that to exit the blackness. then run a virus scan, and if that doesn't do anything, try taking it into the store you bought it at, see f they can help you.
