Q: I am looking to buy a laptop in the next year to replace my aging desktop and to take to college. I was just wondering when would be the best time to buy one, since as newer technology comes out, prices go down. I was looking for something around $1250 or less with a good graphics card and a decent sized harddrive.
A: It depends on what you want. If it's something that came out a bit ago, a good time is any holiday sale. If it's cutting edge, Black Friday is the best day.
