Q: I don't think it came with the computer, anyway it says my cmputer is at risk & I need it. It costs 50 bucks. I never needed it before. Where is it coming from? Is it legitimate? Right now it feels like it is the spyware. It's not in the program listings & it is stuck on my toolbar on the lower right hand side with the volume control & other icons. i click on it & nothing happens. It pops up every 5 minutes & I have to select the "continue unprotected button" on the pop up.
A: Do Not and I repeat Do Not!!! download stuff or especialy buy things on popups they could be a threat and are almost definately a rip off. If I was you I would do some reseach through google on the software. And get a download of anti spyware software. I suggest avg for free software and try bitdefender if oyu do not paying a little bit. Bit Defender allows you to get a free 30 day test trial during that time it will scan your computer give you a firewall and over all protect you.
