Q: I'm buy a laptop for my first year of college and it turns out I'm clueless with stuff like this so couple questions: - MOBILE BROADBAND: is it easier to have built into the laptop or is it pretty simple to install it on line - WHICH MOBILE BROADBAND: i know it's sorta opinion but cheapest, best w/e any opinions - MICROSOFT WORKS STUDENT EDITION: can I get it cheaper than $80 That's it thanks for all your help =]
A: For college, I personally don't think you need mobile broadband. A regular at-home internet service provider (ISP) is sufficient, then all you need is an ethernet adapter and maybe a wireless adapter, both of which are pretty much standard on today's laptops. As for Microsoft Works, that also comes preinstalled on most computers. If you mean Microsoft Word or Microsoft Office, than no, $80 is the best you're going to find for a legit copy.
