Q: I'm 12 years old and I need a laptop for school and homework.I have a computer at home but living in a house of 7 it is hard to use.I really found a nice one and need $774.I feel useless and I'm trying really hard to make money, plus I'm very busy with school work and coming home watching and taking care of other younger siblings. So please give me some ways. Thanks!
A: Clean out your closet and sell the stuff on ebay! It's very easy and you can make a lot of money. Set up a PayPal account (or have your mom help you) so you can get your money easier from customers. Get a cheap digital camera and take pictures of your sales items. Ship everything USPS Priority Mail and don't sell out of the USA or shipping will be prohibively expensive. Give good customer service and you'll get high ratings and good comments. Then, offer to clean out your sibling's closets or the basement and garage if they'll let you sell the stuff they don't want and keep the $ as payment for cleaning. I know this works because my younger 2 sons (ages 16 and 18) have made a couple thousand dollars selling unwanted stuff from our house alone.
