Q: bought it off a friend in nother state how would i restart the whole labtop over (in steps) as if it where brand new its green and made in 2005 i think thanks 10 points
A: Laptop* I don't understand this "green" Mac. They never made green Macs before. Edit again: My mistake. You're absolutely correct, daliminator2000. The Clamshell iBook. That hardware doesn't support the latest versions of OSX, nor the last few versions. Apple has completely changed in the last few years. So unless your friend included the old OSX install disk, you'd have to find the old version somewhere.
