Q: If I push the headphone cord all the way into the headphones insert, only one ear will play. If only push it in half-way, both ears will play. Its not the headphones, I have multiple pairs and they all do the same thing. Anyone know what might be wrong? What I can do to fix it? How much it would cost? My laptop is brand new, but I don't want to send it back just because of the little problem. My warranty says I can get a replacement, but I need it for college and it might not come back by in time. They all do that? :( Kind of weird that they would design them so that way. Does anyone know a brand of headphones that would work?
A: this is a common thing happened when you are trying to attach a headphone to any sound card "in case of having a non brand headphones" headphones while they are new they made this error "one ear only till u hold it's jack" so annoying :d anyway i recommened you to get a new brand name like creative headphones or trying the headphones when you get it on the shop as a test for it , also test your pc with any speakers and see what happening "that's a too tiny solution cause it has nothing to do with speakers but it will clear the vision if you got anything wrong in your sound card nor your sound settings" good luck.
