Recovering a Dell Latitude D600 laptop to factory settings?

Q: I have a Dell Latitude that I want to restore to factory settings. It has some virus that my antivirus program won't eliminate and it would be much less of a hassel to just recover it. I bought it refurbished from a computer store, though, and I'm guessing the hard drive or whatever isn't original because Ctrl+F11 doesn't work at boot up. Is there any way that I can restore this to factory settings? Can I create a disk using the computer? Will Dell send me the appropriate disks? Or is my only option buying a more expensive antivirus program and hoping it works (I'm using Panda Antivirus right now)? There must be some way to recover it. Thanks.

A: Call Dell and have your recovery cd's reissued. It may cost a little but it's worth it at times like this!
