i recently boughta t9300 with 2.5 and 6mb of cache, i used to have a t5500 with 1.8 and 2mb of cache?

Q: what difference will i see? what does that cache thing do?

A: you will see a huge difference. the cache is a holding station for data the cpu processes. like this you have a pale that olds one gallon of water you pour it in a tank. and walk and fill the pale up again. the water is data. I have a two gallon pale. I can hold more data at a time for the cpu to access. less trips to the source. the source is memory.
