Opinions on HP tx2510?

Q: What are your opinions on these two laptops? I am considering one or the other. I like pretty much everything about it except the processor and the screen size. For those of you who have it - does the screen size bother you? I haven't seen it in person yet but I'm scared that it'll bug me .. I can't get a new one for a while after I buy a new laptop. I want the processor to be maybe 2.2 or something, but, not sure if there is a place where I can request that? I've only seen the notebook on Best Buy and they don't do that. Also, overall opinions about the notebook would be great, too. Thanks!

A: The HP tx2510 is a fully configurable tablet PC if you buy it direct from HP's online store (http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_store&category=notebooks&a1=Category&v1=Mobility&series_name=tx2500z_series). So if there is something you don't like, you can change it. The tx2500 is one of the better tablet PCs out there, with a decent processor, graphics card, and plenty of RAM and space, at a hard-to-beat price. The small 12.1" screen size imitates that of a piece of notebook paper when you write on it, and is generous on battery life. In the case of tablet PCs, having a smaller screen is better, as it will make the tablet lighter and more portable. However, because it has an AMD processor, it generates a lot of heat, especially when used for prolonged periods of time. Also because that AMD CPU is not as efficient as say, a Core 2 Duo, the battery life is not as good as it could be, though it is still pretty decent. Don't let that sway you, though -- the pros clearly outweigh the cons. I would definitely go for a tx2500 tablet. You won't regret it. Hope this helps.
