A: The VGN-AR830E is basically the same as the 730E, except higher-spec'd. The 830E's got a bigger hard drive (2x200GB compared to 2x160GB) and a faster processor (T8300 clocked at 2.4GHz compared to T8100 clocked at 2.1GHz). Other than that, not whole much of a difference, which is to be expected since these two laptops are pretty much the same model/family, just with slightly different specs. Hope this helpsl
