Q: HELLLLPPP!!! i went to uninstall Nero 8 from my toshiba (vista ultimate) and it says to restart so d uninstall can be completed..when i restarted it, it was fine until i sign on my acc (there's my acc and guest acc)..i logged in it but my screen goes BLANK!!! and der's a desktop window....everything works fine but d back screen is totaly blank (no start menu, no icons, no rocketdock, no nothinnggg) and i couldnt even right click it...i had to go to 'program files' in order to go on d net...i have tried reinstalling d nero but it won't work... can any one PLEASE helpp me with dis... =[
A: Ok, so you can log in and do stuff but the background including the icons have gone. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to access the taskmanager, access the processors tab. scroll down to see if a program called explorer.exe is running. Now go to the first tab and select new task. Navigate to: Local Disk (C)> Windows> Explorer.exe This should fix the prob. If not go to the top right hand corner of the screen, try dragging the black screen from the corner or seeing if there is a X button.
