Q: I have an Ibook powerpc g3 800mhz laptop and I've been looking all over for updates. my version of os x is 10.2.8 I found a updat for macosxupdate10.4.1 but im assuming i cant use it because i dont have the updates in between??? What can I do with this laptop? I love it!! I just want to update it.. Cant it run windows? or anything else good..
A: Whoa, You have got to be in the very few people left using 10.2 (Jaguar) You should go on eBay and buy a copy of 10.4, It is not a update but an upgrade. ie. it costs money. 10.4 shouldn't cost much on eBay though.
