Q: Upgraded RAM to total of 4GB, however the machine still sees only 3GB which was the original configuration. Its an Acer Extensia running Vista, Acer website was not helpful.
A: Vista 32 bit will recognize ~3.2 GB RAM max. Recognizing the full 4GB of RAM will require upgrading to a 64 bit version of Vista.
