How do I see what's hogging all my mac's hard disk space?

Q: I have a 60 (55)GB hard disc, 19GB free, documents+picture+music folders take up about 3GB (together). I don't think I have 30gigs worth of programs installed. What can be hogging all the space? Computer info: 1st gen MacBook, Version 10.5.4, OSX Leopard. I don't use time machine.

A: http://www.derlien.com/ "Disk Inventory X is a disk usage utility for Mac OS X 10.3 (and later). It shows the sizes of files and folders in a special graphical way called "treemaps". If you've ever wondered where all your disk space has gone, Disk Inventory X will help you to answer this question. " cheers
