wireless connections?

Q: whats the difference between 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, etc..?

A: Please do not forget to rate my answer.I know it will be the best. First 802.11a is used for crowded 2.4 ghz areas or backup.Good for long distance building to building links wireless bridge connections. It has higher frequency but it doesn't travel without high gain antenna. You guess, the equipment it needs costs more than a nad b. Second 802.11b (2.4c ghz frequency) is the cheapest one it used for internet access ONLY.It's the most accepted standard of the three and it is sufficient. Third 802.11g is used for internet access sharing data fies, movies, videos. If you have a home movie studio it should be your choice. It has the same frequence range as his cousin 802.11b.I hope my explanation was clear enough. In case you need more information in the future you can visit http://www.charlottepcdoctor.com email us or you can chat with us.
