Q: Like I said I am going to a Community College. I'm starting in August (the end of august) and I don't have a laptop. How many of you have one? My mom kicked me out (long story, but not my fault. my mom=druggie big time) Yeah so I can't afford one lol and she won't buy me one cuz I am ignoring her now. So how many of you have a laptop going to college? I'm taking math, English and a counseling class that helps you decide what you want a major career in And I don't type that fast lol
A: I have one, but it turned out to be quite useless. I have mostly used it for my biology class to take notes, but I found it more efficient to just sit there and use a pen to take down stuff. Like people said that there are computers everywhere on the campus, so you don't really need one. Some libraries in the school open 24 hours for most days of a week. Check yours to make sure. My personal experience has taught me that using a laptop while studying is very bad, since your attention shifts constantly and it's difficult to concentrate. So it's better not to have a laptop in order to do well. :)
