Q: hi, i have posted questions before about my laptop's sound troubles, and now it has gotten worse,OK this is what's happening, upon loading windows i do not hear any sounds not even the log on sound, in which i used to hear briefly, and when i check for the volume button in the taskbar at the bottom of my laptop screen, i do not see it anymore, and when i go into control panel to find out why, it says that there's no audio device, but when i check in device manager, my audio device is there and working properly, what do u guys think is wrong, or if anyone knows what i should do, pls free feel to let me know ASAP, b/c this problem is very frustrating, and would like to come to some conclusion ASAP.Thanks again to all that answers!
A: Try updating or re-installing your device drivers... Go into Device Manager find your speakers, there should be a drivers tab, click update drivers... It this does not work go to the manufacture website for your laptop and there should be a support tab and re-download and install the drivers... If the problem persists take it to a tech as it could be that your sound card is on it's way out..... Hope This Helps!
