Q: As you'll notice, I'm not a computer expert. I have a PC with a Sempron Procesor. The memory ram is 1GB. It also has an 250 mb Nvidia video card. The computer is really fast when it works. The problem is that it used to freeze with some video games. After trying for some time, I noticed that the computer would freeze after using it for 3 minutes. Sometimes,I could only use it in safe mode, but now it freezes like that too and goes to a blue screen that says windows had to be shut down in order not to damage the PC. I have taken it to many Technicians, but they can't find the problem. Now i opened BIOS and realized the system fan is not running. This is the exact information in PC health status: CPU temperature 40 C,system temperature 33 C, Current CPU fan Speed 3233 rpm, current system fan speed 0 rpm. If the system fan isn't working, would it cause the pc to freeze and turn off, restart and take me to the blue screen? The other question is, Where is the system fan located?
A: No, it will not cause any problem.Check if the processor is fitted properly on the mother board(mb), the processor is compatible with the mb . There would be no system fan in your cpu. This is the reason why the peed is 0rpm i'm sure of it. If your problem is not solved with my suggestions, mail me.
