Q: i was doing that but i wanted to stop half-way after the formatting of my hardrive and stuff.....but everytime i turn on the computer it shows the windoes loading screen and then asks me to insert the disk...how can i delete this unfinished windows installation ???? plz FIRST answer to get 10 points
A: Go into your bios and change the boot order. Make it so the cd drive boots first. Also, Usually you can push a key at startup that will allow you to choose to boot from cd. This key is different depending on the motherboard. Usually its ESC, DEL, or one of the f keys
