Q: Do 120mm case fans cool your computer better then 80mm fans?
A: Both 120mm and 80mm fans have the same potential. But the good thing about bigger fans is that it is able to move more air with less rotations. So a 120mm fan can move the same amount of air a 80mm fan does with less rotations. And with less rotations come less noise. If both a 120mm and 80mm fan were rotating at the same rate, the 120mm fan would move more air.
