I need to partition my hard drive to NTFS using BackTrack Operating System, how can I do this?

Q: Windows setup is messing up, im running Backtrack off of a CD, how do I partition the Hard Drive to NTFS?

A: You want to use a live Linux distro to repartition your hard drive? What is it that you are trying to do? You have a Windows OS installed? Formatting your drive will wipe all data. Are you trying to resize a partition? EDIT: Hmm, perhaps you are trying to format an empty drive for a windows installation. Are you using gParted (should be included in the live cd/dvd)? NTFS should be one of the format options. Do a search for "gParted"... you can download and burn an iso, boot from your optical drive, and use the gParted tools to format to NTFS. EDIT2: Actually, try this: http://partedmagic.com/downloads/stable <--- download link.
