Q: i need it to play online games. i don't wont to buy a apple computer!
A: "Best" is a questionable term. I might go on-line or get a copy of "Computer Shopper" magazine and look at some of the Alienware machines. They are optimized for games, but they have "tiers" that will suit many budgets. However, be sure to compare. Some "pitfalls" - a dual-core machine running at 2.0 MHz will not comfortably run a game that requires 2.5 MHz because power doesn't add up that way. It is possible for single programs that a single-core machine at 3.2 GHz will outperform a dual-core machine running at 2.4 GHz - if the problem being tested as a benchmark doesn't lend itself well to parallelism. If you are going to do gaming, look long and hard at monitors and video cards - because you will be looking at those games long and hard when you BUY the machine. If what you see makes your eyes hurt, don't buy it.
