Is it best to remove the battery when plugging in my Mac Book Pro?

Q: I am using my Mac Book on battery most of the time and wait for it to run out until I plug it in. Should I remove the battery once it's been recharged and work plugged in? Thanks.

A: You don't have to wait for it to run down before you plug it in. There is no memory effect like ni-cad batteries of the past. If you are running heavy applications like iMovie or burning DVD's etc, you should do it plugged in regardless of your battery condition. You cannot overcharge these batteries, just leave it plugged in. regards, Zyfert
