Q: Even removing a battery in bios I cannot get one to boot from anything but windows. Is this possible? I go into bios check boot order cd 1st. will not run anything but win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A: I was frustrated like this with a VA machine, until I discovered you had to change a jumper on the motherboard. So check the repair manual of your proprietary machine for how to get into bios. And how to allow it to boot from CD.
