Q: i really want a mac, i am already convinced but i just have to convince my parents that it will be better than the one we have. we have a dell and have always had problems with dells and its old and money is not the issue here. so please help me =] ok well lets see.... the reason why i am convinced about getting a mac is more why i don't like PCs. in the past year three of our computers (two of which were less than a year old) have crashed and had to be restored. they all had norton security and protection and such, but they still crashed. we have had so many problems and spent so much time on the phone with windows and had a hard time with vista and xp. it would be really great to not have to worry about the viruses and everyone i know who has a mac is happy with it. ive never heard of one crashing like ours have. haha wow you people know alot about computers. i'm just a teenager here trying to get a cool new computer from her parents =]
A: it should be easy to convince them if you can get them down to the apple store to take a look at them. once you start playing around on one, and see how it easy it is to do things, it's really easy to make up your mind. Plus, there are no viruses written for the Mac OS.
