A: Yes Mac computers are very flashy and have fun little programs for you to mess with (like the web cam). But a Dell is in your price range, Macs are more for an artistic kind of person but PC are more of a thing you'll see in the business world (you'll run into one sooner or later). If you need this computer for your family I say not Mac. P.S. Please do more research, I think some of the best answers are gonna be "It goes faster" or "You can never get a virus ever".
