Q: I want a computer that will run a few programs at the same time without getting two crazy, something fast enough where it wont distract me. what is the best computer for me. A: Your best bet would be to get the fastest Dual-Core processor that you can afford and the most RAM that you can afford (at least 2GBs of RAM). Personally, I'd pick the AMD over the Celeron. Pentium and above in the Intel line is okay. Here's one, add the extra RAM though.
