HP Pavilion a6300f in Germany? Voltage?

Q: Hello. I just moved from US to Germany. I want to use my HP Pavilion a6300f (American 110V Plug) with the German 220V Plug. I do have a "plastic converter", but it doesn't convert voltage, only the plug. My question is, can i use it? Or will it burn down to the ground? If you didn't know, this model is a desktop.

A: If it has the switch for voltage on the back you MUST change this to 230v. If not you either need to replace the power supply with a Euro version, or to get a very expensive high power converter. If you plug it in it will definitely blow, often damaging the board, chip, drives and a lot more, as the initial surge pushes right through the power supply.
