A: Go to "My Computer," right click on your hard drive, select "Properties." ( blue represents how much space is currently being used, while pink represent free amount of space) Or you could do this which kills 2 birds with one stone.... If your operating system is Windows XP. Click start, go to settings, click control panel, click performance and maintenance, select rearrange items on your hard disk to make programs run faster, then you should see Disk Defragmenter. On the top right you should see Capacity which is how much data the PC can hold and next to it you should see % of space. Under both catagories there should be a number below. This should answer your question. BTW defragmenter is basically rearranging data on your hard disk as mentioned above which should be done at least once a month to keep a good speed for your PC.
