Q: I live in Canada and am going to buy a new gaming desktop. Question is: from http://www.dell.ca or http://www.ncix.com? NCIX has better deals but i live in Ontario and it is located in BC. Please give reasons.
A: Custom-built is better than models offered by Dell, so probably NCIX. Dell overcharges for key component upgrades, and often puts weak power supplies on many models- enough for the system as it shipped, but not enough to accomodate future upgrades. I'd search for ibuypower PCs, those seem to be geared for gaming right out of the box. Some of the cheaper models need a video card upgrade, but that's all... A few extra days in transit via UPS shouldn't hurt ya :)
