Q: my computer keeps turning off at random times i used the system disk that came with the computer and deleted everything, yet it keeps turning off... what could be wrong with it? could it be a virus that did permanent damage??????? I know it could be turning off because of overheating but both fans are working fine... the computer is about 3 years old... if that helps
A: Hi Lee A virus doesn't do permanent hardware damage or what not. if the computer keeps shutting down, it is more likely due to overheating of the CPU or the power supply is about to go.
