Crashed Desktop won't boot of CD?

Q: My computer crashed. I'm running an XP.I put in the OS CD and have the CD Drive first in the Boot Sequence. When I power it up,the CD drive spins and I get an error message saying "F1 to try again" or "F12 for Setup". Any Ideas. Thanks in Advance.

A: If you have XPs install cd do this First you off cpu detach the KEY&MOUSE cable ON cpu after 5sec off cpu now detach hard-disk cards&power cable on cpu and off cpu (you hear along beep sound) Now you attached keyboard/mouse/hard-disk cables now you on the cpu insert Windows Xp cd press DEL button in the key board and go BIOS setting make the first boot device IS CD rom (enable this ) and Press Save&exit button(F10) enter From the cd rom booting is go ahead when the computer restart please don't forget to change in BIOS setting The first boot device is HDD (enable) this and save setting all-most the proses is finished and the install proses ok do this yesterday only i do this (Important thing don;t up grade your Xp throw internet It may Cause The CPU)
