Q: Just bought a new hard drive and more than often it say "insert ststem disk and press enter" So I went to the place who I bought it from He rebooted it once (by my contract w/6month guarantee allowed to reboots 2x only-which leaves me only one more. I'm very frustrated because he says press F1 when it happens some times it works and windows xp open most times it does nothing but keep repeation the quoted msg above. I don't know alot about computers but I do know alittle. MY question: is there an EASY WAY TO REBOOT MY SYSTEM MYSELF WITH NO DISK. IT'S A PAIN GOING BACK AND FORTH TO THIS COMPUTER PLACE PLEASE HELP Thanks for any help that comes my way and for your time8) if can provide info please make it as easy to follow as possible. thx Tammy

A: either you can create a boot disk yourself or you can ask the shop keeper to give you one, which would be the easier option. On a website i saw this. "Create Windows XP Setup diskettes Microsoft is beginning to phase out bootable floppy diskettes in favor of bootable CD discs and has not included a method of easily creating a bootable floppy diskette in Windows XP or from the CD. However, Microsoft has downloads available for users who still need to create bootable diskettes to install (not upgrade) Windows XP. These downloads can be found through KB310994. for more info try the website www.directron.com/bootdisk.html - 55k
