AMD 6400 overclocking

Q: My processor is good, however i notice it runs into trouble at times. How do i overclock it by even 0.1 GHZ on each core? I mean is it possible? if so when what program should i use? Oh it is in an Asus M2E-N SLI board, which is a bit shockingly bad, any ideas on a board upgrade too? Other stuff: 4 gig ram @ 1066hz 2x8800GT the board only supports a 16 PCI-E slot and the second is only 8 PCI-E slot. so i need a new board too.

A: You can overclock through your bios. Download and run cpuz in the link. run it and it will show your bus speed, multiplier, and core speed Example is for my 5000 200 bus by X13 multiplier=2600 MHZ. do the math and switch the bus speed accordingly. I'm interested in what trouble that processor runs into, send an e-mail through link on me and let me know. My 5000 BE at 2925 MHZ has been running both cores at %100 for months and no hiccups or slow downs. Good luck
