when I start my PC a small box appears which says

Q: "Hook load Failed" I just click ok and the pc works fine but its annoying what is it?

A: hi there the message you recieve is regarding a dll or dynamic link libary, and A "DLL Hook" is what coders use to literally put a hook on a certain DLL This DLL might be the Windows logon prompt, Internet Explorer's DLL library or something else. since this problem is occuring during start up you should be able to remove it from start up using the msconfig (microsoft configuration utility) go to start>run and type msconfig and hit enter, then click the start up tab and look for anything to do with any previous programs or security software this is the difficult part, trying to discover which program or application is responsible for the dll hook, however if you can remember any security software you have recently removed or any application then this may make this task a bit easier after you have deselected the problem start up entry click apply and ok,a restart will now be prompted so click the restart button and wait for the p.c to restart hope this helps, any problems let me know good luck !
